The government has passed a few laws to protect the rights of people. It is
important for a company to keep a check of these laws to work according to the
laws of the government and provide the rights services to people. The
government states that it is important for a health care provider to be
educated enough. A health care provider should have knowledge about medicine.
A health care provider should not serve people or provide services if he doesn't possess the right knowledge for his field. This act states that people who work in healthcare field should have the knowledge to handle the field and the patients. Moreover, a medicine company should only produce medicines if the workers working in the organization are qualified to do so. All in all an individual should only work in a particular sector if he possesses the knowledge and qualifications to do so.
Another law states that the people should never be overcharged. In private
hospitals, it is very common to overcharge people. They overcharge the patients
for even petty problems because they run a high-class business and they make
money by charging the high-income group. However, the government states that
the customers should never be overcharged in any case. This law is very weak
and the implementation is not common. Most of the businesses or health care
providers usually ignore this law and continue charging their own rates.
Moreover, a healthcare provider should also work according to the ethics.
This means that the providers should take care of the environment and people.
Ethics are basically things that are accepted or not accepted by the community.
There can be things which are legally acceptable but not ethically acceptable.
A healthcare provider should never deceive the patients and always use medicines
and operating methods that are accepted by the community. This eventually leads
to positive word of mouth and higher profits. High profits give a higher return
to the owners and also lead to growth.
